TSUKIMI DANGO is a mid-autumn festival slime, or "tsukimi". Tsukimi refers to the Japanese mid-autumn tradition of moon viewing. Tsukimi Dango is a traditional sweet eaten during Tsukimi, which are mochi balls stacked in a pyramid with a yellow kabocha (Japanese pumpkin) mochi on top to represent the full moon. 

 

Traditional Japanese iconography around Tsukimi features rabbits, known in other cultures as the Jade rabbit because of the rabbit image that appears to be on the surface of the moon. In Japanese folklore, the rabbit looks like it is pounding mochi, hence the tradition of eating mochi! 

 

This slime features a mochi dough DIY clay texture that results in a puffy chewy slay and when mixed, it becomes a beautiful mint green colour. The fragrance for this slime is sweet rice cakes, sweet soy sauce, and roasted kabocha. Perfect for those who like new unique scents that are savoury and sweet.
