Chinese egg tarts remind us of our childhood. Gazel's mother used to make them all the time - the sweet, custardy egg filling enveloped in a flaky crust. They're excellent out of the oven, but even better when cold in our opinion. ;)

The crust is a mix of cloud, snow fizz, and clay and the centre is a glossy white glue slime.

We sourced an oil all the way from New Zealand and when we smelled it, it blew us away with the accuracy. Therefore, it is scented like an eggy custard tart.
