TANGHULU are Chinese in origin and refer to fruits that are coated in sugar with a crunchy coating on a stick. Traditionally, it is made with hawthorne berries but can be made with different fruits. Our favourite are hawthorne tanghulu, the namesake of this slime, which are really sour and unique tasting but is tempered with sweet rock sugar.

 

This kit comes with a silica sand “rock sugar” slime topping, a clay tanghulu on a skewer, and a clear slime with a tiny hint of instant snow. Mixes to a “slay” (semi-clay) texture that is not very heavy on clay. Scented like tart hawthorne berries with rock sugar.
